Laser Power Supplies - Our Story
History
Founded by Elden Peterson in 1993, the company in Colorado Springs, CO, developed a range of high voltage power supplies which set the standard for performance and reliability, ultimately supplying the vast majority of Helium Neon laser manufacturers with high-value and long-lived products.
Voltex - a New Beginning
In late 2022, the company was acquired by Pacific Lasertec, who was an important customer of Voltex. Relocating to a state-of-the-art, custom tailored facility, the strategic combination quickly gained a leadership position in the market space.
Voltex - The Path Forward
Looking further towards the future, in August of 2023, Pacific Lasertec / Voltex joined forces with Pfingsten Partners to build a strong photonics platform. Leveraging Pfingsten’s operational resources, global capabilities, conservative capital structure, and strong cultural fit will enable our business to rapidly scale and diversify in the coming years.
